How do you make time to see all of your friends? It seems like when I see certain friends, other ones feel neglected and think I don’t want to hang out with them. the truth is we only have 24 hours in a day, in the midst of all of our own personal lives.
Is it even possible to spend time with all of your friends? Or does one have to accept the fact that friends come and go…that we always have great memories to cherish.
Perhaps sometimes friendships are strong because of how much we miss them.

This crossed my find today—who said life was easy? It makes more sense for me for it to be difficult. Joy comes from overcoming challenges and adversity, right?
What a crazy week at work. I don’t know what to think of things. Don’t get me wrong…still love it. I write this as I’m sitting outside of Victrola Coffee, finishing up work, catching up on emails. It’s a beautiful day out.
Life isn’t so bad.

A lot of you know my close relationship with my mom, and probably don’t hear me talk much about my dad. It’s not what you think. I absolutely love my dad and we get along most of the time. He has been happily married to my mom for more than 30 years. He is a person that sacrifices everything for people he loves…and even people he doesn’t know.
I am in my mid-twenties now. By that time, my dad experienced being in the seminary to become a priest, fighting in a war against the Viet Cong, spending several years in a POW camp and leaving everything behind to begin a new life in the United States. It’s overwhelming for me to think of all the things he went through.
That’s why I don’t try to stress out about anything or even contemplate something is impossible. When I draw, paint and design, I have this picture with me; to remind me that everything is possible when you sacrifice and put the work into it.
I love you, Dad. Thank you for making me the person I am today.
