There’s something fascinating about small gesture drawings that can convey a narrative. Perhaps this explains my interests in website wireframes and user experience design. Here’s a little sketch I did for a scene for Robot Chicken…if I worked there. It’s a scene where Darth Vader is playing Edward 40 Hands and pisses himself. In the end he doesn’t make it into the bathroom and screams “noooooooo” a la “Revenge of the Sith.”

I first read Mapes’ work in the Seattle Times and saw her book at Barnes & Noble; decided to pick it up for S+Gs. Five months later, I made time to read it. The book made me laugh…can’t believe how horrible some dates went. However, it did give my some great insights on things, and made me re-evaluate myself as a person.
